Timmonsville is a town in Florence County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 2,320 at the 2010 census, an increase of 5 persons from 2000.  Timmonsville is my home town and I was partly raised up on Warren Street where my grandmother lived until she died.

After my grandmother passed away, my mother rented the house to fellow citizens and the rent was coming in and it was good. In 2012, the property caught a fire and now it lay in ashes.

Timmonsville is a small town but there is potential, opportunities and a need for housing.  As I traveled up and down Warren Street, I noticed empty, abandon and vacant lots.  As with the economy condition, I'm pretty sure the owners would love and need to sell for the need of cash.  I have a vision of beautification of one street at a time.

A stretch of abandon property all on the same side could be utilized by building some affordable apartments or houses and renting them to the unfortunate, disabled and or disadvantage individual seeking the opportunity for a fresh start

We can make and be a difference in this community and make it matter!  I just feel that someone should step up and help our communities come back alive for our children sake!  Helping to make our communities a better place to live and to keep hope alive by visual awareness.

Just in back of these vacant lots, houses, etc is a park. A park for our children with little suitable occupied homes in the surrounding area. We can bring life and light back to an area that has died with our old patrons. Our Children still lives

The moment we surrender our lives to Him, we are His, we belong to Him. We now do His will and His work. And we surrender because of His overwhelming beauty, Love, sacrifice, and perfection through by the Holy Spirit in which is giving to all freely by choice.

Christ is more particular here in foretelling his sufferings. He adds the mention of his resurrection and his glory, to that of his death and sufferings, to encourage his disciples, and comfort them.

For the time had now come for their chosen purpose to be for filled and Jesus teachings to now become a reality in their life.

God has a time set in each and everyone of our lives as to when and where He will lift up a standard. When your time is near, He will pull you aside and fill you in on the details. You will hear of it first hand and from another as conformation.

Three dead in 95-car pileup

Three people were killed and more that 20 injured in a massive series of pile-ups involving 95 cars on Interstate 77 near the Virginia and North Carolina state line Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.

A state police statement said that there were 17 separate crashes involving 95 vehicles within a one-mile span of the southbound lanes. Three people were killed and about 25 injured, the statement said.The crashes began around 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes in Carroll County, Virginia, according to Virginia State Police. Excessive fog in the Fancy Gap Mountain area is being blamed for the massive accident.

Southbound and northbound lanes were closed for hours, but northbound lanes were reopened about 7 p.m., and it had been hoped that southbound lanes could be reopened about 9 p.m.

Motorists were encouraged to avoid the area. The state police said that overhead message boards had been warning motorists since 5:47 a.m. to slow because of the fog.

Prophet Contracts HIV

after Embarking on Strong Spiritual Prayers On a Woman

A self styled prophet, Brighton Chiwafa (19) has reportedly contracted HIV from a woman he prayed for and later raped. Chiwafa of House Number 36, 18th StreetHeroes Section, Chegutu, initially went to the woman’s house demanding his “holy water” back before she pleaded with him to continue using the water.

Chiwafa denied the charge when he appeared before Chinhoyi regional magistrate Mr Solomon Jenya, but was convicted after a fully contested trial.

Prosecutor Mr Admore Shekede proved that the accused had non-consensual sexual intercourse with the woman.

In his defence, Chiwafa said the woman consulted another “prophet” who instructed her to find a young and healthy man who would help her conceive, as she wanted to have a child.

He said the intercourse was by mutual consent.

Allegations against Chiwafa are that on October 10, 2010, he went to the woman’s house demanding his “muteuro” (holy water) back, but the woman pleaded with him to allow her to continue using it.

He returned the following day making the same demands, but she told him that she had pain in her womb and needed help.

Chiwafa asked for cooking oil and told the woman to go into a private room where he followed and told her to apply the oil on her private parts.

He then started caressing her private parts and raped her.

Mr Jenya found him guilty of the offence and sentenced him to six years in prison before suspending two on condition that he does not commit a similar offence in future.

Cases of women being raped by self-styled prophets are on the rise nationally. The police urges women not to trust the prophets who masquarade under the guise of religion.

Wife poisons, stabs husband to death over second wife

PORT HARCOURT–It was gory sight yesterday in Mgboshiminu community in Obio/Akpor Local Government of Rivers State as Charity Ovudah, 36, allegedly stabbed her husband to death after first poisoning his food.

The alleged murder said to have taken place in the night before was reportedly provoked by the deceased, Peter Ovudah’s attempt to bring a second wife into the matrimonial home he hadshared with the alleged killer.

A family source said the decease had already concluded plans to bring the new wife,who was pregnant, into the family houset before Charity’s fatal reaction.

Mrs. Igbokwe Onyeka, a neighbour to the Ovudahs revealed that; “The family had been quarreling over the issue of a second wife but no one anticipated that Charity would be so angered killed her husband.

A 19-year-old housemaid to the Ovudahs, who gave her name as simply Loveth said she witnessed how Ovudah died, saying she first noticed that Charity added something to her husband’s food that fateful night.
she said: “I was the one who served the food for my aunt’s husband but my aunt added something that looked like salt and mixed it together.

“So when Oga came back and started eating I was monitoring him. After about 30minutes he started behaving strange and fell off the dining chair, rolling on the floorand shouting for help. “That was when my aunt came and stabbed him till he gave up”, she said.

The suspected killer was said to have disappeared the moment the housemaid alerted neighbours of her action, but the remains of the deceased has been deposited at the BraithwaiteMemorialHospital mortuary in Port Harcourt.

The pair, who are neighbours at Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, were 11 and 15 when Emma became pregnant. Sean and his mother moved next door to the Websters in November 1996 and he became Emma’s boyfriend shortly after that. He is a 7th year at Margaret Beaufort School in the nearby village of Riseley. 18 year Old Mother Buries her 2 year-old daughter Alive

A young mother, Adeola Joseph, that buried her only child alive in her residence in Osogbo, Osun state for two days in 2012, has been jailed for six years. The trial Chief Magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko, ordered that the 18-year-old mother should serve the jail term with hard labour.

Handing down the judgment, the magistrate said the convict who looked unrepentant, did not deserve to live among humans.

He noted:

“The convict is callous and may not change from her devilish act as she did not show any remorse. She may do worse if given the opportunity to continue to live amongst human beings. She needs to learn how to live among human beings and not animals.”

Before her arrest at Ijetu area of the state capital and consequent conviction, she was said to have made several failed attempts in the past to eliminate the two-year-old baby,Fatia Nafiu, who she saw as standing in her way to making it in life. But the 18-year-old woman who is now an unwilling guest of the Ilesa Prisons, said she had no regrets about her action. It was gathered that the determination to eliminate the baby was her desperation to relocate to Lagos in search of a white-collar job.

Her parents were said to have insisted that she moved with the baby but she felt uncomfortable with the idea of combining the task of nursing a baby with gainfulemployment.The woman who was confirmed to be mentally fit by medical doctors during her trial, had lived with the baby for two years. Adeola’s first attempt to get rid of baby Fatia was in November, last year, when she allegedly poisoned her food.

It was gathered that the second attempt was in December last year, when the young mother dumped the baby by the bank of River Osun but some passersby rescued the baby and took her to a motherless babies home from where she was later returned to her mother.   

The mother and child lived together until Adeola made another attempt to get rid of the baby. But by sheer providence, the child escaped death once again despite that she had been buried for two days. Many residents had rushed to the scene of the incident to catch a glimpse of the child, and were surprised that she survived two days in the grave before good Samaritans led by Prophetess Tunrayo Akinwande, who lived close to where she was buried, exhumed her.

It was gathered that the baby fainted and was rushed to the State Hospital, Asubiaro in Osogbo where she was admitted for three days before she was discharged.

The Police prosecutor, Mr. Solomon Oladele, had told the court, that Joseph buried her child in the early hours of Monday, February18, 2012 and the child was rescued after two days by a Good Samaritan,Prophetess Tunrayo Akinwande, who lived around the area. Oladele said that before the intervention of Prophetess Akinwande and other residents of the area who exhumed Fatia, the innocent baby had been in the grave for two days.

The convict who had faced a three-count charge of attempted murder, felony and breach of peace, pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy.She told the court that her parents were not favourably disposed to her marriage with the father of her child and had since been living alone without assistance from any body, hence her resolve to terminate the baby’s life.

Also, the convict had told the court that she decided to kill the baby due to her decision to relocate to Lagos in search of a job and could not bear the responsibilities of caring for the baby and working in Lagos

Shuffling along the road, holding tightly onto her grandmother’s hand, every step three-year-old Yu Yu takes is painful. The toddler suffers from an undiagnosed condition which causes her feet to grow at an alarmingly rapid rate.

The youngster is forced to walk barefoot as her poverty-stricken family are unable to afford shoes big enough for her. Yu Yu’s feet are constantly swollen and heavy, making moving around extremely difficult. An x-ray clearly shows the deformity, which forces her feet to curve outwards.

  

Man Arrested

For Killing His Father After Church Prophesy

 Ogbonna, a 30-year-old farmer from Ebonyi state has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his father last Saturday around 5:30pm.

Ogbonna, from Isundiede village in Izzi Local Government Area, was said to have severedd his father’s head after returning from a church programme where it was purportedly revealed to him that his father, Ogbonnaya Okereke was manipulating his destiny through mystic means.

According to family sources, the accused had, before committing the act, reportedly expressed animosity against his father for neither educating him nor showing interest in his future.

While confirming the incident, the Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sylvester Igbo, said Okereke’s body has been deposited in the mortuary while investigations are ongoing to unravel the identity of the Pentescostal pastor who gave the said prophesy.

“When the suspect was arrested he said he took the action because of the prophesy he received from a pastor that his father was manipulating his destiny and that the reason he also committed the act was because his father did not show any interest in training him in school,” he said.

Well police say that Wafeeq shot his friend in THE HEAD inside a music studio while he slept. The victim awoke from a drowsy sleep to see Wafeeq pointing a gun at his head and saying that he needed to be sacrificed,.

The bullet ricocheted off the victim’s hand sending bone and skin fragments into his eye, according to the warrant, but the victim was able to get hold of the gun and shoot El-Amin in the stomach before he ran off.

Wafeeq, who was heard shouting “You are my sacrifice” as he pulled the trigger, believed that a sacrifice had to occur in order to join the Illuminati.

Man beats up wife

A Gweru man recently went berserk, bashed his wife and even threatened to stab her with a knife after she reportedly refused to teach him how to open and use a Facebook account.

The man, Benjamin Chanyau of 1242 Mkoba Village 18, appeared before Gweru magistrate  facing charges of domestic violence. He was found guilty of assaulting his wife, Ms Fadzai Muchavhaira and fined US$200 or in default one monthimprisonment.

The State’s case as presented by Mr Bonwell Balamanja is that on 21 February, the complainant, Ms Muchavhaira was taught how to open and operate a Facebook account by her brother at the couple’s house in Mkoba Village 18 in the presence of the accused.

After the departure of Ms Muchavhaira’s brother, Chanyau asked his beloved wife to open her Facebook account and teach him how to operate the social networkwebsite. Chanyau also demanded to see what his wife was posting on herFacebook account alleging that Facebook was bad for married couples.

The wife refused to comply leading to a misunderstanding between the two. Chinyau got furious and kiicked the complainant in the stomach once with a booted foot. He reportedly went on the threaten to staab his wife with a kniife if she failed to show him what was on her Facebook wall and teach him how to use Facebook.

The complainant reported the matter to the police leading to the wife-basher’s arrest.

Woman gives birth

to a baby with 2 heads and Many Legs

A woman give birth to a healthy girl with two heads but one body at a private nursinghome in this Uttar Pradesh district.
The abnormal baby was delivered to one Sumitra Devi (38) after a major operation at a private nursing home ‘Aashirwad hospital and Research Centre’ near Polytechnic crossing at 2100 hrs last night.

The child has two heads fixed on a single neck and body. She has two hands and as many legs and is crying with both her mouths. Not only this, she is taking feed with both her mouths normally. The rare birth is said to be owing to a congenital abnormality.

Senior doctor of the nursing home, Dr Anju, said: “It is a birth defect and usually known as ‘congential anomaly.”
It is a type of congenital disorder which is primarily structural in nature, she informed adding, the problem occurs to one child in several lakhs generally due to a genetic disorder.

Dr Vinod Kumar, another senior medico, said the chances of survival of such children are much lesser, but they can also live longer on better care. The father Tilakdhari Yadav said the newborn is his sixth child. He has four daughters. The fifth child was a boy, who is no more.
