Verse of the Day *December 1, 2012*

The Word Became Flesh!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-2, 14 NIV

Who is this Word?

THE WORD IS JESUS THE CHRIST WHO WAS AND IS GOD IN THE FLESH!

Let us replace 'Word' with 'Jesus'..................

"In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God" for they are one.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believe in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. John 3:16

Let us have Faith in the Father. Believing that God is our main source of surviving and that if it had not been for Our Father, who are in Heaven, we would not have been here today!

He love us and no matter how bad we are, He keeps on giving us another chance to get it right.  Lord! I just wanna thank you!!!!

I Love Me

Would it be bad if I consider myself a Beautiful Black Middle Age Woman? 'BBMAW'  Well! If I don't think I'm worth a dime, who will?

Every year we get older and older! I bet you didn't know that? hahahaha....
I want to encourage every woman in the world.  'LOVE YOURSELF'  If you don't love yourself, it will be impossible for you to love others.  Do not be controlled by another who put and tares you down.

Tango Face Wink Clip ArtWe are all different and beautiful in our own way! Find someone who will love and accept you for who you are.  We are
women and our body change with time and so does man.  But the one advantage we have over a man is that we don't have to work up a sweat.  We powder to stay dry!

Something To Do All The Time

When your mind is clutter, have no answers and don't know what to do, take a moment, quit time, sit down, palms up, on your knees, close your eyes, breath slowly and relax for 5 minutes. The problem want go away but your mind is a bit freer to think!

I have a lot going on all the time. Sometimes I put things down and I forget where I put them. Sometimes I start doing one project and wind up on another and the next thing I know, I got 3 to four projects going on at the same time.

Now I need a doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a single female with talents and gifts.  I use them both to make my living. I admit I need my help mate and I want my help mate and I will be glad to put my help mate in charge.  BUT! since I don't have that helper, I do and go for what I know to do...

Some times my body is so sore and tired at the end of the day, I cry! But if you take my work away from me, I'll cry too!  I love to work and I love to stay busy even though I'm tired.  'Does that make since?"

I pondered my life a little and realized when we put elderly individuals in a nursing home, they begin to feel useless and die quicker. But you let them stay home, they feel useful because it's always something for them to do especially in their own homes.

Snakes In The Closet

Any SNAKES in the Closet? You may as well COME on out! Everybody else is! Trying to look like you belong. COME on outta there! Just hanging around in every bodies business pretending you care. I COMMAND you SNAKES to COME OUT in the NAME of JESUS the CHRIST. NOW!!!!!!!!

Are you setting up house for enemies? Inviting them to dinner? Taking them on road trips and hanging out with them?  Have you not notice changes in your life? You are camping with snakes. Well what do you mean Sister Dottie?

What is a snake? 'humanistic-ally your enemy'

The serpent (snake) was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. Genesis 3:1-24    And he is Wise. Matthew 10:16

Dictionary: A treacherous person; an insidious enemy. Compare snake in the grass.  The more you let someone in your private affairs, the more they can use such information against you.  your closes friend is your worst est  enemy.  It is so sad that we as a human race desires and wants buddy-buddy friendships. But some times it's not good.  We some times have love ones tell us about a certain person but 'WE DON'T LISTEN' We listen when damage has been done and then we start asking questions and not understanding why it happened.

Well! Satan 'the devil' uses people to steal, kill and destroy your life. John 10:10
and he does not care who are what they mean to you. The closer they are to you, the better it is for him to work.

Trust NO Man:

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. Psalm 118:8

Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms; Micah 7:5

"This does not mean to hate anyone. It means to never let your Guard down, no matter what or who you consider them to be in your life"

Verse of the Day *November 30, 2012*

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives” 2 Peter 3:10-11 NIV

We will be about our very own business, doing our daily routine as usual, and the Lord Jesus second coming will be as a thief coming to rob your natural house.  Oh what will you be doing? What will I be doing? Where will we be at the appointed time? and in what position?

It most definitely want be the time to repent; We can run but we can't hide. For he is omni present so therefore he will be every where. The only safe place was to be caught up in the rapture (The taking away of his followers).

Who are his followers? Those that obey his Words (The Bible and The Holy Spirit).  "If you love me, you will obey what I command. *John 14:15*

How do I escape this torment of death?  Act 2:38, tells us how!

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

What does the Holy Spirit do?

1) The Holy Spirit Reveals God’s Will
 2) The Holy Spirit Applies Salvation
3) The Holy Spirit Indwells Us
4) The Holy Spirit Give Us Spiritual Gifts
5) If we should die before the Rapture, The Holy Spirit resurrects our dead bodies back to life as did Jesus.

Would you want to take that chance of doubt. For it is written! You are going to believe something - so why not this? The heat will be so intense, no man can bear it.  I note:  Every year get's hotter and hotter.  They call it! "Global Warming"  Sister Dottie

Break The Chain Of Bondage

Photo: Admitting faults does not make you weak, but stronger. When getting down falls, errors and mistakes out in the open, Satan no longer have a whole over your life. You now become FREE. Confess it, release yourself and break that bounding spirit. You will feel much better. Everyone has made some kind of mistakes in there life. You are not the only one! BE FREE!Admitting faults does not make you weak, but stronger. When getting down falls, errors and mistakes out in the open, Satan no longer have a whole over your life. You now become FREE. Confess it, release yourself and break that bounding spirit. You will feel much better. Everyone has made some kind of mistakes in there life. You are not the only one! BE FREE!

Joy comes when darkness fades and the light shines so bright. A burden is lifted, a weight is removed and a breath of fresh air arises from your lips when we loose those shackles of secrets we so diligently lie about and hid.

Hmmmm, 'The Perfect Man' We want be seeing any of those around here not in this world.  All though we try to be, but we as a human race need help!  When we begin to open up to people you will also fine that people will open up to us because they actually think that they are the only one who do or has done work.

The fact of the matter is; A lot of people have done wrong and just didn't get caught where others are paying the price for their wrong doings.  Just consider yourselves blesses and give God the Glory!  Because if it had not been for the Lord on my side, where would I be?

I Made It Through It All

I'm where I am today because of me. Everything that I am, everything that I have is because of me!

I cried, I prayed, I begged and I asked.
I morn, I gowned, I confessed and I lied.
I joked, I worked, I repented and I received.
I knocked, I seek and I did research.
I applied, I acknowledged, and I admitted.
I loved, I frowned, I disliked and I smiled.
I smoked, I drink-ed, did drugs and borrowed.

I was called by God and now I'm his follower.

Sweet! Through it all God did not turn his back on me nor left me to the wolves. He reach way down and picked me up, brush me off and set me in the seat of righteousness. He saw good in me when know one else did.

Everything that I am, is because of me! Today I can say, I don't regret any of my trials nor my journey to get where I'm today. Now I want to go further so I prepare for my next trials and lasting journey. Be Bless and have no regrets. Live and let live.. Life is full of tests... No need to fear nor be ashamed. I'm proud of my trials, I can help others better.

No matter your addictions, distress, problems of any cares of this world. You are not the only one. There is always someone that has gone through the same identical things or worst than what you are going through now. Open your heart and mind, reach out and  receive a Word from someone.  You are not the only one!  If I made it, you can too!

Words Makes The Difference In Our Life

Word to seekers of knowledge:

We need to get our house in order and stop doing and saying things that does not apply to our life.

There is nothing wrong with singing; "To Close To The Mirror, To See What You See"  BUT! Once God have open your eyes and begin to use you to discern spirits, to know and to show. 'STOP' singing that song, because in others you do see what God sees.

There is nothing wrong with singing; "Trouble In My Way, I Have To Cry Sometime" BUT! When God has already delivered you from prior trouble and you have been delivered and know what God can do; You should be singing; I'm Going To Hold To God's Unchanging Hand.

Have we not learned?  Why do we keep going back? We are to move forward, forward in God's Grace getting deeper into knowing his will for our life.  The tongue is a dangerous weapon.  We speak , preach and sing life or death to our own souls.

Let us get it together and stop singing all these songs just because they got a good beat and sound good.  Listen to the words first and see if they line up with your level of life living.  Always speak, preach and sing words that will take you to a higher level in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior "The Father"  Get to really know Him, He's Cool.

Don't Settle For Less

Believe IN our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then believe ON our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, serve Him and be the best Servant ever! When we serve the most High, we will have everything we need to serve others.

'He that is greatest among you shall be your servant.'  *Matthew 23:11*

To do good for others seems like the hardest thing for some people to do without thinking bad of them.  Yes! Their are some people that take advantage of others and use the systems, but there are those that just can't get up off the ground and needs a helping hand.  The Word says that: "The poor you will always have with you..." *Matthew 26:11*

Some of us have been so fortunate with plenty.  You make good money, you shop on a daily basis, you eat out at fine restaurants, you can afford to go to the gym to keep fit after eating all that delicious high seasoned food. Life is just good for you and that is a blessing that you are able to "have life, and have it to the full" *John 10:10*.

But don't forget about those that are less fortunate than you. Don't forget about the fact that it could have been you or someday it could be you.  Let us do unto others as we would have them do unto us.

Jesus Christ was a servant of God and He served the people.  He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, feed the hungry, counseled and teach to seekers of knowledge to all that ASK!

So I ask you today!  Make your donations count! Give back to your community, help those that are in need of technology equipment, learning and training.  Any child without a computer has a disability! Donate your old computer equipment, clothes, toys, desk and chairs. Help us, help others to achieve and have a chance at life to the full through Christ working in us.

Verse of the Day *November 29, 2012*

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1,26 NIV

Let us never forget to give thanks to our God of the earth and heaven.  For He has created us (made it possible) and He will never leave us nor forsake us no matter how things may look or seem to be.

The enemy wants us to get sick and tired of believing in someone that seems like He is not holding up to his promises.  But listen! God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that he should change his mind. God's timing is not ours, nor his ways. It is most important that we seek Patience and continue in our Faith.

For this in not Praying Time as everyone seems to think.  We have been Praying for a long time and we will always Pray daily.  For this is now Faith Time.  It is Faith that moves God.  Even in the worst storms of our life, we shall always remain unmovable and steadfast in the Faith.  It is easy to talk about what God can and will do until you hit rock bottom!  Now my friends, it's testing time, where is your Faith?

Let us continue to give God praise. Continue to trust and depend on his everlasting mercies and grace.  He knows all about it. His love endures for ever.

The POWER of a SEED is NOT in its SIZE

"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you." Luke 17:6

A lot of time we look at the size of an object and determine our conclusion.  We are so sized  up in performance until 'if we see a short man trying out for basketball' we automatically assume he is not going to make the team.  But doing the try out, he leaps higher than the tallest man that's trying out.

No matter what we are trying to accomplish in this life, we are to keep the Faith that we can accomplish anything we put our minds too!  We are that seed baring fruit! The seed of our life living.  Where are you planting your seeds?  Who's life are you touching? Are you making an impact on someones life?  What are you accomplishing in your life with your seed gift? Are you drawing souls to Christ?  Make your life seed gift grow where it matters the most and where you are promised internal life after this life.

No matter how big, small, tall or short you are, never under-estimate the power of your life seed.  "You can count the number of seeds in a FRUIT but you can't count the number of fruits in a SEED"
Blessing Kojo EsselPaa Kwesi Quainoo "Title"

What we are capable of producing is up to us. Keep an open mind and let our hearing and understanding be the determining roots to the growth of our seed spreading.  Just a little faith in our self and God as our helper can take us far beyond our imagination from the beginning of this life to the end.

Verse of the Day *November 28, 2012*

“Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.” 1 Chronicles 16:8 NIV

According to this statement, in order to make known among the nations (with an 's') many countries, how do you plan to get there with no money for flight?   it makes a lot of people out to be a liar that says; God is not a social media and that internet is of the devil.

God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are *1 Corinthians 1:27-28*

Just because one do not understand a thing, does not make it not right.  What the devil meant for bad, God always use it for our good and his Glory.

Television, Radio and the Internet are ways to get your message across the globe with just a few pennies a  month.  Let us utilize what is before us to proclaim the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and let the world know that he is not dead but alive and well in us.

What We Should Do

SAINTS, WHILE JESUS IS IN HEAVEN...WE HAVE SERVICE "TASKS" THAT HE HAS GIVEN US TO DO...WE ALL ARE NOT TO PRODUCE THE SAME RESULTS...BUT ACCORDING TO OUR ABILITY (Matthew 25:15)...WE ALL MUST BE FAITHFUL OVER WHAT THE LORD HAS CALLED, CHOSEN US TO DO...THE LORD WANT US TO EXPERIENCE...THE JOYS OF OUR SERVICES TO HIM...THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS... EMPHASIZES PERSONAL PREPARATION FOR THE COMING OF CHRIST (Matthew 25:1-13)...THE PARABLE OF THE TALENTS....STRESSES THE IMPORTANCE OF FAITHFUL SERVICE...DURING HIS PRESENT ABSENCE (Matthew 25:14-30)

SAINTS OUR SERVICE TO GOD IS NOT ONLY PREACHING AND TEACHING HIS WORD...BUT ALSO...For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger and ye took me in, naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me (Matthew 25:35,36)...BEING DOERS OF THE WORD, AND NOT HEARERS ONLY (James 1:22)...MEANS ALSO BEING OF SERVICE TO OTHERS...AMEN!!...THERE ARE SO MANY OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS ASKING FOR OUR HELP...

IN SERVING THE POOR, FEEDING THE HUNGRY, HELPING THE SICK, etc... ..SOME OF US THAT CAN HELP...ARE TURNING A DEAF EAR...WHEN WE STAND BEFORE GOD...WE WILL BE UN EXCUSABLE ..THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO NEED MORE THAN OUR PRAYERS...IF YOU CAN HELP...ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD...YOU SUPPOSE TO HELP...WHAT CAN WE SAY WHEN OUR LORD TELL US... I WAS HUNGRY...BUT YOU DIDN'T FEED ME...WHEN YOU COULD HAVE...INSTEAD, YOU ARE STORING UP FOOD...THAT YOU WOULD NEVER EAT...CLOTHES THAT YOU WILL NEVER WEAR...AND MY PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY AND NAKED...YOU DIDN'T HELP THE HOMELESS...AND YOU HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH ROOM...SAINTS, NOT EVERYBODY IS TRYING TO USE US...IF WE DON'T TRUST ANYBODY...ASKING FOR OUR HELP...PRAY AND THE HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT WILL SHOW US...
SAINTS, THIS MAKES ME TO UNDERSTAND MORE...THE SCRIPTURE THAT SAY THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SCARCELY MAKE IT IN...WHEW!!!
OME OF US ARE GOING TO MISS OUT ON HEAVEN...BECAUSE WE ARE NOT BEING OF SERVICE TO OTHERS...READ THE WORD SAINTS...WE'RE NOT DURING WHAT THE LORD REQUIRES OF US...I KNOW THAT "IT'S TIGHT...BUT...IT'S RIGHT"...THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT SOME OF US KNOW NEED OUR HELP...WE JUST LOOK THE OTHER WAY...In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matthew 25:40b)...In as much as ye did it NOT to one of the least of these, ye did it NOT to me (Matthew 25:45b)...IF YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF..."WWJD" WHAT WOULD JESUS DO...WELL...HE TOLD US IN HIS WORD...W
HAT WE SHOULD DO..........AMEN!!

Florida Woman Arrested After Beating Up Boyfriend For Bad Sex

Raquel Gonzalez Esric DavisRaquel Gonzalez (pictured) was arrested Monday and charged with felony domestic battery for beating up her live-in boyfriend Esric Davis (pictured) for climaxing and leaving her unsatisfied.

The 24-year-old woman allegedly lunged at her 30-year-old boyfriend and violently began attacking him.  She zeroed in on Davis’ face and managed to land some pretty heavy-duty hits and scratches near his eyes and nose, according to the police report.

Gonzalez told authorities she was injured as well by her beau when he tried to restrain her.
Investigators allege that Gonzalez, whom they classified as “belligerent and uncooperative,” might have been under the influence of alcohol and this could have fueled her attack on Davis.
Gonzalez didn’t bother to defend her actions, choosing to remain silent after deputies read her the Miranda rights.
The young scrapper remains in the Manatee County jail and bail has not been set.

Learning To Be A Parent and Single Can Take Ages

When I had my first child, I was not ready to be a mother and didn't know how. I was 17 years old. I was just blessed that I had two loving caring parents that took my daughter as their own. Of course they let her know that I was her mother. My father told me point blank. "I could go any where I wanted to, but the baby stays" and so that's the way it was. I was still in my parent home and my last year in highs school, single and had no husband and the best place for her was with my parents and I did not neglected her.

Now when I had the second child at age 21, I still didn't know how to be a parent. Still single, no husband but had my own home. I had my friends and family to help me. I couldn't take my babies to the doctors for their shots because I can't to this day bare to see a needle, less long one going into my baby arms. Ooooooo! I cry when I go to the dentist :) I'm strong but weak <3 .

I'm age 51 now. My daughters and I have a great relationship because I never abandon them. but gave them what I could. My hats off to all Mothers, young and old. I now have 2 grand girls. My oldest I practically raise, "given back" she is now 13. and my newest stay with her parents. I thank God for my parents and the people he placed in my life to help me with my children. We are bless because the love is still there after all we went through. To God Be The Glory!

Mistakes happens in our lives and sometimes we do what we gotta do, instead of doing what we planed to do.  But when it is all said and done, and we look back over our life, we don't regret any of it.  I was blessed to be raised by my father and mother who instilled good work ethics, responsibilities, punished when disobedient, rewarded when behaved and taught to love and respect our elders with humbled answers like; 'yes sir or ma am or no sir or ma am' and most of all stay out of grown folks conversations.

Now a days, things are totally different. The parents do everything for the children today. Some children don't have to make their beds, the parents do it for them. Some children don't get punished for mis-behaving, the police intervenes and Some children are raised by both parents and still not appreciated.  Adults can be holding a conversation and a child will jump right in filling in the gaps. We would have had to go to the Dentist to get some fillings, cause our teeth would have been on the floor! Wow! my how time change.

We all learn from the mistakes and errors in our life. We do what we can do with what we have. It may not always be pleasing and or acceptable to all but when one has giving all one have to give, what more can one ask for?

Verse of the Day *November 27, 2012*

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16 NIV

In order to bare fruit for Christ, we to must be rich and seasoned in grace.  For Gods grace is sufficient. For his power works diligently  from breast to breast.

I heard someone said God is not a Social media Network!  But I beg the difference.  God was networking way before computers ever existed.  The Holy Spirit is an electronic, mechanism of waves flowing through out the universe.

The Social Media Spirit Rim that dwells within us, flows from breast-to-breast and can tell if the other person is one of his by their electronic mechanism of waves that he or she is producing.
These waves are determined by a persons action and speech.

So let us check ourselves, study to show ourselves approve so that we may rightly divide the word of God that other may understand with a grateful heart.

Are We In The Right Position?

Question: Why and when most people say they got a call from God, they assume it's on the pulpit?  Everybody does not go to church and God has a big Administration just as the world do.

People are spread out all over this world and some have not even heard of Jesus Christ, what he did and why!  And yet we are so small minded to think that all God wants us to do is stand before a small group of people who have heard and not yet turned from their wicked  and evil ways.

We are so sometimes even forbidden to go to step foot in the liquor store to talk to  our brother or sister. What good are you?  If you got that salvation where you can't walk in a dance hall, liquor store, crack house, prostitute house, etc...  without thinking you are going to become a part of it, then you are not called! We all know somebody that's in those houses. Those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. *Roman 8:30*

It is not you or I that do the work, but the power that dwell in us.  Our Job is to GO! God does the work, and if we don't go, what good are we to the ministry/church.  We are to witness and a living witness at that.

It's good to tell what Paul and Peter did, but what about you. It's good to tell the story about how Jesus feed the hungry and clothed the naked, but what about the Jesus down on the inside of you, what is he doing? Are we rightly and fitly  joining together?

Answer: He can't do nothing because we are rebellious and refuse to obey! We are to busy worrying about what man may think and not busy enough for the business of God.  Lord knows help me, but that is why sometimes we are in the state that we are in.

No! we are not rightly fitting together, because we are busy being to jealous and concern with others position. Fighting and warring against and among ourselves.  Instead of working with each other, we are working against which causes the Church to divide.

At Least 112 Killed in Bangladesh Factory that Supplies to Wal-Mart

Bangladesh Fire
This holiday season while many shoppers are out to find the latest bargain to wrap in paper from the $0.99 Only Store and place under their tree, they may have forgotten about their fellow Americans who pleaded with them to stop the corporate greed and ask them to support them for a day off for Thanksgiving.  Not many people supported the Wal-Mart employees who vowed to protest and picket the monster franchise due to low-wages, lack of benefits, and being open on Thanksgiving Day.
However, 112 people in Bangladesh have paid with their lives due to deplorable working conditions while making the cheap clothing for Wal-Mart stores, under the label Faded Glory.  According to news reports, over 100 people were killed in the factory fire late Saturday night; 12 of those fatalities were a result of people jumping from the building, they later died of theirinjuries at the hospital.
A store that supplies it's customers every needs, over looks its employees. More details on the story

A Wet Seat

Ladies!

If you went to use a public rest room and the seat was wet with urine and someone was next in line to use it after you, would you clean the seat before leaving?

Verse of the Day *November 26, 2012*

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,” Hebrews 12:28 NIV

We are children of the most high. Children of a God that is the creator of this world and even ourselves.  We are unstoppable even beyond this life and our Father has given us a part of himself, the Holy Spirit to help us alone this journey! BUT YET...

When trouble come we are all so up in a roar and a mess with down cast spirits and an over rated taste of fear. So confound with hurt until doubt begins to sink in and our thought pattern become confused and then we begin to question whether there is a God or not.

We are but little ones beneath the almighty, formed in his every spit ten image wonderful and fearfully made but of a few days and still don't know who we really are.

The word of God continues to tell us not to worry, not to fret, nor fear.  Listen He says: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." *John 16:33*

So we should arm ourselves (with the Holy Spirit) take up our cross (the troubles of this world) and follow him. For if  Christ has overcame the world and He is in us, then we are overcomes also. Unmovable, unshakable and seasoned for life. So whether on this side or the side after death, We are victorious!

Let us honor the Father with our bodies and let the inner man (Holy Spirit) manifest itself to the outer man with fear and trembling. Therefore we will have a do right mind of knowing that God has our back, no matter what!

Do It All In The Name Of Jesus and Be Thankful

Verse of the Day *November 25, 2012*

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17 NIV

Praise God! so many times in our going in's and our coming out's, we don't do things of our own free will. We don't feed the hungry because it's something we want to do, we don't give to the church because it's something we want to do, we don't visit the sick because it's something we want to do and we don't even seek God because it's something we want to do!

What ever we do in our life, it should be from the heart. People are always telling others what and when to do a thing, until sometimes people just do it to keep their mouth closed. God get's no glory and one is not doing it unto the Lord but unto man.

It is getting so sad to the point that even in the church house, they tell you when to stand up, when to clap your hands, when to dance and even so when to sit down. This is not unto God, but unto man!

We must learn when we are trying to draw others to God, we should be the first partakers. We need to learn not to tell others what they should do but you do it and they will see and follow.

Let us give others the opportunity to know God for themselves. Let them feel the marinating of Christ down on the in side to know why they do a thing. Then and only then, they can give God thanks on their own accord and know why!

Today's Task: Just ask someone WHY did they do what they did! I hope you get more of: because I wanted to do it! Have a Blessed Day!

A Look At Life

It is so amazing how we look at life.

When I was younger being raised with Father and Mother I was ungrateful.  Ungrateful because daddy made us work.  We raked yard, feed hogs and chickens, picked butter bean, cucumbers, watermelons, hoed the garden, pulled weeds and if we wanted any kind of allowance we had to go work in somebody's tobacco field.

In the process of working that tobacco job, I cropped, strung, hung and topped. I got so good at what I did, the boss man let me drove the tractor.

My daddy was high minded in providing for his family the hard way until he stop taking the pigs to the slaughter house and started killing his food himself.  He even made his two sons point the gun at the pig head and pull the trigger `bam` Pig Dead! We hung em by two feet, gut em and clean em. Even got down to ringing the chicken neck for Sunday Dinner. "The best gravy in the world"

Mom on the other hand gave us chores. We had to sweep the floor, clean the bathrooms, wash the dishes, make our beds and what ever you do, `Don't Go In The Living room, It Was For Company`. More over I learn how to cook at the age of 10. I mean full course meals. By the time mom and dad came home from work, dinner had better be done are you was winding it up to a finish mood! Again, I was so good at what I did, when it was time to go to the fields to pick beans, I was left home to do the cooking!

Not considering the task that I was put through was making me a better woman, I just dreaded being made to work so hard and hardly having no time to go out like the rest of my friends in what I called to have fun.  In my highs school years, mom and dad moved us out into the country. We lived 6 miles from town. So we rode the bus to school and back Monday - Friday, mom and dad took us to town on Saturday and mom took us to church on Sundays which was also in town. That moved to the country was the best move for me and my sisters and brothers. We didn't get into much trouble with the town crowd.

We use to get angry because we 'thought' we was not being treated fair and had to work so hard. I remember walking down the road (in the country) grumbling "I'll be glad when I grow up and get my own house".  I can even remember saying "I wish my daddy was dead". Harsh Right?  He was a tough man but one thing I can say, daddy did not shame us in front of people. If we where bad in front of people, he would look at us, point his figure and say under his breath; `I'm gone cut your ass when we get home`  And when he said it, he meant it!  Of course if he had one to many to drink, mom would not let him whip on us because he would not realize how hard he would be hitting us. My dads famous way of whipping us was to put our head between his legs with buttock in the air and he had one of his homemade thick leather belts.  Whoooooooo, what pain.... Mom did no spanking. All she had to say is; "I'm gone tell you daddy". And we would straighten right up!

Lord looking back on those days, we did not know we had it so good! The toughness of passion my daddy had for us was to make us strong men and woman. Men and Woman that can get out in the world and do for ourselves. His children that he could one day be proud of.  My dad died in the year 2000 of a heart attack.  If I knew back then what I know today, I would do and say things a whole lot different.

I'm a business owner, a fighter, strong minded and don't mind working to get what I want and love to travel.
We live and we learn.  I appreciate my parents and all they have done for me. My mom still lives and I love her dearly. I will give her her flowers while she lives. Dorothy M. Kennedy is a great and godly mom.
