King George school sends note home warning of “violent act”

KING GEORGE, VA (WWBT) -
It is a dark time at King George High School. Parents received a letter on Friday from the school principal warning of a disturbing rumor.
The letter said a rumor is circulating that a student or small group of students is planning a "violent act" at the school on December 21st coinciding with the end of the Mayan calendar.
"It's a sick thing to do," said Walter Volinic, who's son is one of more than 1,300 students who came home with the letter.
The morbid note comes on the same day a shooter stormed an elementary school in Connecticut, killing dozens of young students and teachers. The King George community is now on edge.
"I mean talking to people at work," said Volinic. "People are saying they are not going to send their kids to school on Friday."
School officials say there are security measures in place, and they say the threat seems to be isolated to the high school; however, the superintendent is not taking any chances. He is requesting extra police presence at all county schools.
"It's frustrating. It's disruptive, and it's upsetting," said school superintendent Robert Benson. "We've obviously invested a good deal of resources and time into pursuing it."
The school is working with the sheriff's office interviewing students and parents, but there is still no credible lead.
"So I call it a rumor," said Benson. "Not to dilute the seriousness of it. We've pursued it aggressively because we do take it very seriously."
Benson says the school system and local police will be on high alert next week. All King George County Schools will receive additional security.

Nigerian Navy Augusta 109 helicopter crash, Dec.15, 2012

It was a harvest of tragedy on Saturday as Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State, the immediate national security adviser, Gen. Owoye Azazi, and four others were killed in a military helicopter crash at Okoroba Village in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Others involved in the accident were Yakowa’s Special Adviser, Dauda Tsoho; Azazi’s bodyguard, Warrant Officer Mohammed Kamal and two Naval pilots, Commander Murtala Mohammed Daba and Lt. Adeyemi Sowole.
The victims were returning to Port Harcourt after they attended the funeral ceremony of late Mr. Tamunoobebara Douglas, the father of the Presidential Adviser on Research, Documentation and Strategy, Mr. Oronto Douglas, when the incident happened.
The Nigerian Navy Augusta 109 helicopter that crashed on Saturday. They were said to have been badly burnt and only identified by the shreds of their clothes.
Azazi and Yakowa’s mobile phones rang out continually without any response when several calls were put across to them by some top government officials.
Our correspondent gathered that the naval helicopter was heading for Port Harcourt, Rivers State, but developed a fault and crashed in the village, which also shares a boundary with Nembe Local Government Area.

The Director of Information of the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Kabir Aliyu, confirmed that a Nigerian Navy helicopter was involved in the crash which occurred around 3:30pm.
Aliyu who was silent on the identities of those involved in the crash said a rescue operation comprising personnel of the Joint Task Force, Operation Pulo Shield, the Navy, the Nigerian Air Force and the National Emergency Management Agency, were at work in Bayelsa.
Our correspondent further gathered that the former Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission, Mr. Timi Alaibe, narrowly escaped the crash.
A police source who pleaded anonymity said he was scheduled to board the helicopter but that there was a last minute change in the schedule.
The source said, “Two helicopters took off at the same time. After sometime, we saw the one behind us wobbling and nosediving into the swamp.
“The helicopter took off and was already stabilised on air. It had gained balance and started flying but unfortunately it came crashing.
“We are not suspecting any sabotage because the burial ground was well policed. There were gunboats surrounding the place and many security operatives at the burial ground.”
The former Chairman of the Okoroba Community Development Committee, Mr. Hitler Adunion, told SUNDAY PUNCH that he was the first person to locate the site of the incident.
Adunion said “We sighted the chopper wobbling and crash-landing. By the time we got to the scene, the helicopter was in flames. We tried to put out the flame but it was difficult. We saw the roasted bodies of those inside it.”
Around 7pm on Saturday, NEMA said it had activated its search and rescue team.
“NEMA has activated its search and rescue team in collaboration with other response agencies at the crash site,” Yushau Shuaib of NEMA headquarters was quoted as saying.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State, Mr. Fidelis Odunna, confirmed the incident.
The Secretary to the Kaduna State government, Mr. Lawal Abdullahi on Saturday night also confirmed Yakowa’s death.
He said, “Yakowa on Thursday presented a budget to the state House of Assembly. His last official engagement was his visit to the Barau Dikko Specialists Hospital.”
The air crash came  barely two months after the Governor of Taraba State, Mr. Danbaba Suntai, was critically injured in a similar crash in Adamawa State with his two aides.
The governor is currently receiving medical attention in Germany.

Verse of the Day *December 10, 2012*

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.” Deuteronomy 18:15 NIV

It Is Finished:

Jesus Christ died to atone for the sins of the whole world. After his perfect sacrifice, there was no need for any other sacrifices, so the way for sinners to enter into God's presence was accomplished. Now those who put their faith in Christ as their Mediator can approach God directly, through Christ. They no longer have to have a human prophet or priest act on their behalf. That is the message of the letter to the Hebrews, in the Bible. Further, Jesus had predicted the total destruction of Jerusalem and its temple, this being fulfilled in 70 A.D. - a visible sign from heaven to the whole world that God was finished with temple sacrifices.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1 John 2:27)

The Word of God is truth, but if your faith is weak, then you need man to teach you.  Meditate on this!

Church Going Has Become Routine

Some of us get up on Sunday morning, put on our best suit, best hat, best shoes and accessories, get to the Church Building to say; I BEEN!  Some of us even wash our vehicle on Saturday so when we park on the Church grounds, people can see how clean and sharp our rides are! Church going has become routine.

We spend countless hour in the mirror though out the week beautifying our outer appearance and on Sunday morning, we make sure we put on and take off the necessary pieces and trimming to look the part that we represent in the Church building like; the wrapping of the head or the dolly in top of the head, the long dresses, some of us have to take off the ear rings because this body of people don't like them so we remove them, covering of the legs, vale over the face, remover of the lipstick, all sorts of things we do to please man because Church going has become routine!

The Deacon on the board had fights all week with his wife, not even speaking and sometimes don't even come home during the week because he's been out with someone else wife but when it's Church time, he walks in proudly with his beloved wife on his arms because Church going has become routine!

The Musicians and Praise Worshipers been hanging out all week long gossiping, player hating, back bidden, sleeping around and then come to Church on Sunday morning ready to Worship in the Spirit with their beautiful voices and wonderful sounds, "What Spirit?", Church going has become routine.

We are so busy dressing up to please man, we forget about God who knows and sees all. The bible says; "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. (Isaiah 29:13)

We have it so down pat until when we do go to the Church building for what ever reason a service is being held, we say; I'm going to get a Word from the Lord! Well! What have you done with the Word you have already heard?

We got it all backwards. Living for Christ is a daily life. We spend so much time looking and playing the role in the Church building fear of what man might say, we forget that it is God we serve and He along is the one we should fear! Your outer appearance in God's eye is the last thing he is concern about. "GOD WORKS WITH THE HEARTS OF MAN AND AS WE HEAR AND READ HIS WORD, HE WANTS US TO APPLY IT TO OUR LIVES SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO BARE SPIRITUAL FRUIT AND BE THE PEOPLE HE DIED FOR US TO BE RIGHT HERE ON EARTH AND TO INHERIT INTERNAL LIFE".

God said:  "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--" (John 14:15-16) This is the Holy Spirit to help us to do what is right.  God knows that we are going to make mistakes, he knows how the flesh operates and all he wants from us is a willing mind/heart to do right and to offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God (Only the Holy Spirit can make us holy) this is our spiritual act of worship. ***And He Will Do The Rest***

We really need to be real for the Lord and get our house (Our hearts and Mind) in order. Time is winding up! Playing Church is out or you will miss out.  Get your business straight! Bare Spiritual Fruit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22) Let us work on what matters the most. "Love one for another and obedience to God's Word"

Verse of the Day *December 9, 2012*

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” John 15:5,8 NIV

Jesus Christ let His disciples know that even though He would not be physically present with them always, He would send the Holy Spirit to be “with” and “in” them (Joh.14:17 ASV).  Second, He uses this opportunity to instruct them to remain in close fellowship with Him, the only True Source of life, through the power of the Holy Spirit, that they may bear spiritual fruit, receive answers to prayer, and have fullness of joy.

Christ is the Head or "source" of life to the church (the body of Christ).  As children of God, we have Christ in us through God's gift of the Holy Spirit given to every believer. He is in us at all times; and therefore, we are to abide in Him at all times, and not the carnal or sinful nature.

a person who is not abiding in God, then he or she is not growing spiritually in the knowledge and ways of God, and is lacking in the fruits of the Spirit.  This person is or becomes useless in the things of God, and is similar to a withered branch that men would gather and burn because it bears no fruit.

The fruits of the spirit: Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Verse of the Day *December 8, 2012*

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 NIV

Jesus Christ is the only pathway to salvation.  Jesus is of authoritative standard of righteousness. In fact, Jesus said that He came to fulfill the law and the prophets (Matthew 5:17). Jesus, as the incarnate Word of God (John 1:1) is the source of all truth.  In John 14:19, He gave the promise that “because I live, you also will live.”

Therefore we cannot no the way, no the truth nor have eternal life and see the Father without believing in our Lord and Savor Jesus Christ.

In these words, Jesus was declaring Himself the great “I Am,” the only path to righteousness, the only true measure of righteousness, and the source of both physical and spiritual life. He was staking His claim as the very God of Creation, the Lord who blessed Abraham, and the Holy One who inhabits eternity. He did this so the disciples would be able to face the dark days ahead and carry on the mission of declaring the gospel to the world. Of course, we know from Scripture that they still didn't understand, and it took several visits from their risen Lord to shake them out of their disbelief. Once they understood the truth of His words, they became changed people, and the world has never been the same.

So how do we follow Him today? The same way the disciples did long ago. They heard the words of Jesus and believed them. They took His words and obeyed them. They confessed their sins to Jesus as their Lord and God. They believed that He died to take the punishment of their sins and rose from the dead to give them new life. They followed His example and command to tell others the truth about sin, righteousness, and judgment. When we follow Him in “the way,” we can be assured of following Him all the way to Heaven.

Who Do You Represent

Everything we do, speak, the clothes we wear and even the car we drive represents something or someone. The purpose of this representation is to draw other to what ever the purpose maybe. And in order to represent, we must be a part of it.

As sons of God, living in this world, we are representatives of Christ. We represent Jesus Christ by obeying the Word of God, applying it to our daily lives and let our light shine before men, that they may see our good deeds and praise our Father in heaven(Matthew 5:16)

We are the light of the World, because we have that light dwelling within and if we are representatives of that light, it should shine and be seen by men to draw souls (it's purpose) to Christ.

God is not harsh on our life living, for he wants us to have life and have it more abundantly, but in doing so put him first. Meaning! Represent Christ first! “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

When you buy that Mustang Sports Car and sporting it around, you are representing the Mustang Company and everybody that see it, loves it and might want one. But when you step out of that Mustang Sports Car, your number one representative should show forth and they should see God styling that Mustang Sports Car and want some of Him too!

So what ever you do! do good and with love because God is GoOD and He is LOVE.

Can God Trust You

How much has God in trusted in you? If you have the Holy Spirit down on the inside, He has placed a gold mine in you to be knowledgeable to get what you need as well as share with others.

To get it, just as a house or a car we got to PAY for it! So when we are dealing and requesting from God, we PAY for it by 'GOING THROUGH' our STORMS, which also teaches us PATIENCE'S that also brings on that HUMBLE SPIRIT preparing us for our Heavenly Home.

"I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. *Matthew 18:3*

So going through is not bad after all. If you don't want to go through anything, don't ask God for anything.  Glory!!!!  We just don't walk in the stores, get what we want and walk out, NO!!!! We PAY for it! So getting something from God requires payment.  You will appreciate it better!
So the answer is; How bad do I want it? Can I pay the price for what I'm asking God for? Can I keep the Faith that is in trusted in me until the end of my storm? Can God trust me until the very end?  Are you sure you want what you are asking God for?  Think on this

So when the Storms comes. Let us stop complaining! We asked for it! We are to count it all joy because it's for our good for Joy (your request) will come in the morning. Of course He didn't say which morning, but it will come!

Remembering and Staying Focus No Matter What

Time and Time again I teach having a direct and personal relationship with God. Going to God for ourselves. Hearing his Voice of instructions and yet when the troubles of this world strikes I some how forgets, but then God always reminds me by putting his Word before me, Ministering to me in my Spirits and or use my mother. 'Thank God for mom ma!'

I'm a very spiritual person and have had many spiritual encounters.  I know God is real because he dwells in me, I can hear him and I have seen and recognize his wonderful works in my life.  I don't know where most of you are in Christ Jesus, but I'm far beyond the pool. Don't get me wrong, the pool is the starting point of representing the death, burial and resurrection of our King.

But there is more, more that will only be revealed to those that seek after him.  There is more to this life we live than we can see. The problem is we only want to see with our natural eyes. But we are also Spiritual beings just as our creator. But first! we are here on earth to multiply it, tend to it serve one another and worship our Heavenly Father our Creator with great passion of Love.  For this is not our home we are just passing through. "14 For this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our city in heaven, which is yet to come. 15 With Jesus' help, let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of his name. *Hebrews 13*

We need our helper the Holy Spirit to endure this journey. For it is appointed once to die, but not before you have completed your purpose for being.  Just as Jesus had a purpose for coming down to  earth, we to have a purpose for being here on earth.  We are made in the very image of Gods' divine being. But it is impossible for you to see this with an inbox spirit.

If I where to tell you that God IS the Universe, I'm in him and He is in me, how would you take that? Because that's what I'm telling you.  If God is omni present, how can he be if we are not In him. And how can you commune with him and do right if we don't have him in us?

Verse of the Day *December 7, 2012*

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” John 11:25 NIV

The resurrection!(the concept of a living being coming back to life after death) If we believe in Jesus Christ; For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

And if we repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Act 2:38

For you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you... Act 1:8  And this power will also resurrect your body as did Jesus Christ.

Receive your anointing today. For the Holy Spirit is the key to life everlasting.

I Got Everything I Need

From the beginning of December to now, I have truly been going through some storms in my life.  These storms are taken place for my good, my test and to prepare me for my next level in Christ Jesus.

I was led to go to a Rival Service Wednesday Night. So I washed up, got dressed and just as I was ready to put on my final touches, 'A Storm Appeared' I begin to panic and I became angry and hurt all over again because of the previous storm 2 days ago.  Wow! I repeated. I begin to cry and scream aloud. 'of course no one was in the house but me at the time'

I begin to make phones calls in a hast with angry tones, but yet apologizing. Already knew who was involved. Flesh just took over and now I'm just hurt, upset and disappointed because it was connected to someone I care so deeply about and the items had heart felt messages behind them.

I finally got my self together and went on to the service. I was there but was not there. The preacher was talking about the storms in our lives. "When the storm is over, I'll still be standing" This preacher was the type that like's for you to talk to your neighbor! I did not have a neighbor sitting beside me to talk to. So I just sat and listen deeply and thinking of all my storms..

So after the message he made an alter call and said; 'if any one want to get out of their storm, step in the aisle'.  When I heard the words "get out of" my mind triggered and flash.  I immediately refuse to be taken out of the the storm because I want to 'go through my storm'  Now we could have very well been saying the same thing, I don't know, but I did not like those words 'get out of'.

My Bishop was in the house and so I was lead to go to him. I leaned to his ear and ask for prayer because I did not want to 'get out' of my storm but strength to 'go through'.  It was I that asked God not to just save me, but to use me and I was very much aware of what that meant.

So the Bishop prayed with me, hands lifted up and God truly was present. I danced and was drunk in the spirit, cried and I felt better after releasing some of the tension that was baring on me but still sad.

All this to wake up the next morning to be ministered to that; "everything I needed to go through my storm, I already have, "The Holy Spirit". Man can't pray my strength in the Lord.  As I look back in the beginning when God began his work on me. I was in a church and was lead to go up for prayer. Well just as the pastor of that church was about to lay hands on me, God laid the anointing on me and I pasted out without him even touching me. This happen twice, at different churches.  He also separated me from a long time friend whom I was very dependent on for many years.

I GOT IT NOW!!!! The will of God for my life is to be solely dependent on Him.  He has given me the Holy Spirit and He wants me to Walk there in for all my answers and direction as to what to do. He has a work for me to do and I must only listen and seek him for instruction. And regardless of what this life brings, He has the last say... So I pray in the name of Jesus, when and if the next storm hits, I want take it to heart but know that it's only a test!

Verse of the Day *December 6, 2012*

““I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15 NIV

““I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15 NIV

I'm so glad I'm one of the good shepherd sheep's. A good shepherd watches and is the keeper of his sheep's.  Know matter where we are and what we are going through, the shepherd knows all about it.  The most important thing we must remember is to stay under his care, no matter how the bad old wolf try's to drive us away.

Our tests will come. They will come through the ones that matter the most in our lives. It will come through the lost of love one's and through the lost of material goods that we cherish so much. Heck! it will even come through your parents or your spouse.

But we got to know that we know what we know and that is; God will never leave us nor forsake us and He want put know more on us than we can bare. For if it had not been for the good shepherd, who is on our side, where would we be.

For I know this one thing! Know matter what mountain we are climbing, Never pray to be remove from it, but pray to endure it. For our reward is at the end of the test and my Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ made sure his sheep's past every test that is presented to us by the laying down of his life, con curing death and hell. We are undefeated by Faith in the good shepherd.

Verse of the Day *December 5, 2012*

“Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:7, 9-10 NIV

It is a sad thing to not believe in Jesus. Some folks want to get to God without acknowledging Jesus. That is impossible! Jesus is the one that gave his life that you may have life. For John 14:6 says; ... No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jesus is that gate to the Father, to eternal life, to your desires, your promises being fulfilled, your hopes, your dreams, your everything that you can possibly imagine, in earth as well as in heaven.

Everything we need is in Jesus. We have to wait most times, but it's always on time. We have no other care giver nor keeper. Bad sheep or good sheep, God treats all alike. Believe in him, wait on him and let us see the Glory of his presence where only the thief has to get permission to attach.

You can't jump the fence! We can only enter through the gate!
Jesus is that gate!

VISION BOARD 2013

Subject to be updated...

What God has for me, is for me

Every ram that is waiting to be taken for the asking has it's purpose for being slaughtered.  In this case, used as a servant in God's stead.  My rams where placed before me to sooth my pains. God has a way that's mighty sweet.  When it sometimes seems that we are all alone, we really not.  God see's and knows all.

Today I met my one of my Spiritual Sisters. For I have many, far and near.  You can believe this or not, but God knows just what state of mind you will be in by this time next week. I delivered a computer to an elderly client and she was there. Right on time to up lift my spirits higher in the Lord and was conformation as to what was already spoken.

God knows how to put people in places to answer your thoughts of prayers.  She helped me to come back to the spiritual side of life and to see what was happening, how and what I must do to prepare for my change.  We must go through certain changes to get to certain levels in Christ for the Mission requires much more tribulation experiences.  From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked (Luke 12:48).

We should never try to opp out of our tribulation period, because it's a sign that God is pruning us for higher heights.  No! It is not easy going through and sometimes the pain hurts the most when it's a family member that has a hand in our pain.

Verse of the Day *December 4, 2012*

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”” John 8:12 NIV

Do you want the truth to be reveal to you? When truth is revealed and your spiritual eyes are open, you are no longer walking in the dark. Those who perceive the true Light will never walk in spiritual darkness. You will know your enemy, your betrayer, your backbider and all that God has planed for you to know.

Always keep an open mind, because God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

Nothing that we do escapes the eyes of the Lord. Everything we do is brought to the light.  So whether good or bad our works will be known in it's proper timing. For we are children of the light. We are inheritances of this spiritual light.

The believer will always tend towards spiritual things; he will always tend towards fellowship, prayer, the Word of God, and so on. The unbeliever always does the opposite (John 1:53:19-20) because light exposes his evil and he hates the light. Indeed, no man can come into the true spiritual light of Jesus Christ, unless He is enabled (John 6:37).

Jesus is (through the Word) the light OF the world and He commands us to be a light TO the world. Matthew 5:14-16  Do you have the truth (light) in you?

Ram In The Bush

When everything seems to be going hay wire, there is always someone, 'Ram In The Bush' to give you encouraging words.  My someone is my mother.  My Mother knows me, she knows what I'm trying to do and she has even helped me as far as me training her how to work on computers.  I love my mom.  I know she wants to best for me and right now I need her arms to hold me, her shoulders to cry on and her words of comfort to cheer me up.

We spend so much time comforting and encouraging others and now it's my time! One day everything is going great, you can see your dreams and visions about to come to pass when all of a sudden the smallest little thing can turn your life upside down.

The thing you put your hope and trust in, the thing you so diligently invested in turns out to be a sour ball with no fight, guilt nor shame. What a bomber! Some times we wonder why things don't happen when we want them to. The reason is wait a while and you will see why! Smiling with tears.

But there is always a bright side because someone is always waiting to pick-you-up, brush you off, clothes you with love and kindness and buy you a dinner 'Ram In The Bush' Life is good, but sometimes it can be painful... For a moment...

Why

I woke up this morning with a why attitude. I just don't know why! The more I give myself to others the less they appreciate me.  Why?

Why do I have to buy love? Why do I have to always initiate contacts? Why?

Where is the love that cometh from the mouth of so called loved ones?  I hear it all the time but never seeing it from their efforts of proof. Why?

All my life, I have given, helped, shared and cared. My Spirit is such a given spirit, I formed a non-profit organization to help those that are in need. I don't look for anything in return from the needy, but I do look for something from those that holds special places in my life.

Why is it that everyone else seems to get what they want, but when it comes to me I lack?  Why?  Why am I here? How long will this go on before I receive my desire?  I hold fast to my Faith in God for my change. I'm ready to just get on an air plain and fly away from here, but to a place where I can seek peace and for a change, someone to take care of me. If only for a little while.

The people's hearts have grown cold. It's all about them and they don't appreciate anything. I have just got to let-em go. No matter who they are, because it's a burden to my heart. I'm not Santa Clause neither am I God... I need love and affection too!

Verse of the Day *December 3rd, 2012*

“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35 NIV

Scripture is food for the spiritual man. The everlasting do right man that when the Word of God is read, preached or teached  and received, the spiritual man becomes stronger in obeying the will of God through you, which will make your fleshly side to become weaker in pleasing the world.

The Word is food and drink for the Spirit Man.  If we want to grow in God, we must first seek the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into all truth and we study to show ourselves approve, rightly dividing, storing in our hearts and applying to our life.

Physically we will need some fried chicken and bake potatoes with a glass of red wine if you prefer. He want us to live our lives but just as your car that you drive, it needs oil, transmission fluid and water.  Like so! Your Spirit Man, needs the Word of God.

My Week And A Half After Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has been a blessing to the Kennedy Family.  Everyone is still with us and more has been added to the family.  For Thanksgiving is a day set aside for people as a whole to give thanks unto their God for all the blessings that has been bestowed upon them. But we as Christian Believers give Thanks  and Pray to our God on a Daily Basis.

We had plenty to eat and being that the Head of this Kennedy Family was down a little with eye problems, 'ma mom' we still came and pulled together in hopes of still keeping our Family Tradition Alive. It was planed that she 'mom' would not do any cooking because of her disability. She was not disabled enough to sit on the side line and watch as the dinner was being prepared.  You know she had to put her hands in the pots... and so right there, we had another something to be thankful for because mom is the Dressing Cooker. ' yum, yum, yum...

Thanksgiving is consider our "Family Reunion" This is the time when all of our family come together and fellowship with one another.

Thanks giving 2012 has been another blessing for us Kennedy's. Everyone worked together and much love was shown. I just thank God for family and I      love my family dear. No matter what!

My Mom was schedule for eye surgery on Tuesday, 27th, 2012 at Stokes Regional Eye Clinic of Florence, SC.  It was a one day  cataract removal surgery.  Surely, she could now see better and have to go to her eye doctor to change her prescription glasses.  I tell you the truth. When my mom was down, her whole attitude had change. When one can not do what one use to do, it most definitely takes an affect on you. Whether one admit it or not, it shows.  After her surgery and she could see, wow.... she was a happy go lucky woman. She didn't need anyone to drive for her any more, she don't lay around the house, she up and busy doing house and yard work. I got my mom back yall... We still thanking and praising God for his blessing in our life.

This Saturday, December 1st, 2012, we reached out in the Community with computers, clothes, shoes, and the Word. I just love my ministry and God just keeps on providing.  We had an awesome fellowship.

It is so amazing how the need for love, prayer and encouragement is needed among the people. I'm so happy that God has called me into such ministry as to helping people. Still thanking and praising God for his wonderful works and how He is using me to be a blessing to others.

Verse of the Day *December 2, 2012*

“[God’s Final Word: His Son] In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.” Hebrews 1:1-2 NIV

Are you hearing the Words of God today?  He not only speaks on Sunday's, He speaks every day that the Lord giveth us breath.

Jesus Christ represents God and we represents Jesus Christ. We are the followers of Christ for He walked on this earth, felt what we felt and responded to the way we should respond to certain giving situations in our lives.

He knows what we are facing and has given us a comforter (The Holy Spirit) to help us through this life. God speaks daily, are you hearing him?
